My thoughts: Loveable cute story about a pirate and his trusty companion (of course, it's a parrot). He needs help navigating through the waters and getting past dangerous sea creatures.
This little book provides a great opportunity for kids to do what kids love to do..... draw and mark on things. This gives an opportunity for them to interact with a story (following directions to some extent), correct mistakes, do again and again and again.
You don't want to miss this one. So far there are two books in the "A Draw and Erase Adventure" series. I recommend both.
