My thoughts: I have enjoyed everyone of the Carolyn & John Sill nature picture books I have seen. It is a delight to see their beautiful works sized down and presented in such a splendid way that delights and educates young children. Each bird is identified and represents a fact about the bird or birds in general. These will implant kernels of fact and truth in their minds to later be fleshed out with more detail as they grown.ISBN: 9781682631904

My 11 month old son loves birds, so I may need to see if our library carries that book. We like to start our mornings out on the patio, watching for birds and listening to their birdsong!
