Let's talk about beautiful skin
All of us could list a few basic "must do" beauty ideas, procedures, avoidances, and do-this concepts with which we are constantly being encourage to incorporate into our daily lives. We are told to stay out of the sun. Stay out of adverse weather. Stay healthy. Wash with soap. Don't wash with soap. Cream your skin. Exfoilate your skin. Use this lotion. Use this cream. Pat it on. Rub it on. Spritz it on.You get the idea. But I believe that in all of this resounding advice the main mantra is simply to take care of your skin.
Why? It is simply, well cared for skin is lovely. Well cared for skin actually feels good! And since the skin over your entire body is the largest organ in your system, it is only rational to acknowledge that well cared for skin is a healthy protective layer of defense for your entire body.
While we're talking defense of the skin and hence defense of the body, let's just simply address the fact that harsh chemicals are unnatural and actually harmful. So it is only rational for one to pursue products that are prepared using natural ingredients and methodology that protects our skin and aso the our entire world. Hug Your Skin As Nature Intended with InLight Beauty products
My thoughts: This is a unique collection of face skin products and I have just begun to use the samples sent to me by "Hug Your Skin." I am finding that it takes just a tiny, tiny bit and the basic concept of the products is the utilization of nourishing oils to cleanse and soften the skin and thus aid in slowing of the aging process.
The Face Cleanser works beautifully to cleanse. Frankly, I was amazed. I followed this with the Floral Face Tonic which is a clear, watery liquid. My sample was small so I didn't use a cotton ball saturated with the tonic. I simply dabbed my fingertip with the product about four times and this gave me enough tonic to rub all over my face. With a larger bottle, I would recommend using a cotton pad or cotton ball to avoid skin-to-product contamination. This seems to work as a toner and is quite refreshing.
I used the Daily Face Oil in a tiny amount applied to my face just prior to moisturizing. I allow it to set a few moments. Using a face oil in addition to moisturizer enriches the skin and really provides a healthy glow to the skin. You don't end up with an "oily looking face," though.
After the oil application, I applied either my makeup foundation (a liquid) or I used a pressed powder. I finished applying the amount of makeup I wanted for that particular day. The oil seems to help my skin have a lovely glow which is so nice. And I know that using oil on the face aids in slowing the skin's aging process.
Fragrance: There is a natural, and I think, beguiling scent to each of these products resuting from the maceration of the plant products in the oil during the infusion process. The scent is delicate and very pleasant. You experience this upon application and it dissapates quite quickly. I totally love these scents.
Do be aware, this is not your run-of-the-mill drug store or department store product. This is a quality, "hand made" in small batches product that is organic and all natural. The prices are higher than some woud anticipate, but they are well-earned prices befitting a quality product.
