This is an incredibly useful flashlight. It is mid-sized and very heavy-weight. The aircraft-grade anodized aluminum makes this a high quality instrument that can be used not only for the light emitting purposes, but as a defense if you're caught in a bad situation. I realize the tool is not promoted or sold for defense purposes, but it certainly will qualify as such. That is a real plus for the ladies that use it.

The flashlight on the end is an LED bulb and the light is variable in that you can adjust it to emit a pinpoint area to be lit or you can expand the light in a wide-angle cone of light.

Then if you need a "lamp" type light to illuminate an area, you can expand the telescoping body to reveal a bright white light for illumination or switch it to a flashing red emergency light. (see my little video)

The strong magnet on the end will come in handy to stick the light on metal surfaces so you don't have to hold it yourself. A real plus when you're trying to fix something.

This is a super nice flashlight and just might make it on my Christmas gift shopping list this year. It would be great if you're in areas prone to loss of electrical power, for camping, and for handymen or handy-ladies everywhere. As I said earlier, great as a bit of defense material, too.
