ReplyDeleteMy son goes to summer school every year. He is autistic and it is just easier to keep in a structured environment through out the year.
ReplyDeleteMy nieces like to spend a lot of time playing outside during the summer, which definitely keeps their minds stimulated. Educational programs and books are also great for kids during the summer.
ReplyDeleteFrom the National Geographic Kids website, I learned that Jaguars are the largest of South America's big cats and that the Woolly Mammoth had tusks that were on average 15 feet long. Very interesting!

ReplyDeleteI homeschool my kids, so during the summer we plan on continuing our learning in a fun, relaxed way. We will definitely be taking lots of fun educational field trips as well. :)

National Geographic is the perfect way to avoid Summer Brain drain and still have fun and have plenty of down time. Kids LOVE National Geographic because of their natural interest in the world around them!

Well, we homeschool year-round, so their minds will definitely stay stimulated. We do try to take a little time off in the summer, though, to have some fun!

ReplyDeleteMy kids would love to click and learn about stuff at Pet Central and I am interested in the pages that offer homework help! Sometimes I need it when helping my 5th grader!
ReplyDeleteI like to have my nieces come visit.I get them to play a game where they are also learning.My youngest niece does reading class on tuesdays and my other niece goes to a youth group at church where they do fun things and memorize scripture.Then I take them swimming.Thank you for the chance :)
