Not being a scientists, I can't speak to what this means. I can only address how I feel about the two products I have been given to evaluate. As I use the products according to their directions, I apply a tiny amount of the Eye Treatment Cleanse/Makeup Remover (filled with vitamins and antioxidants) to cleanse the area around the eyes and the eye lids. I allow this to sit a minute or so (I did something like brush my teeth while I waited). Then I rinse it off gently with warm water and pat dry the area. They suggest cleansing the skin even if one doesn't use mascara or eye makeup so you can remove oil, dead skin, and dust.

I found that there is a stinging type of sensation (not every time, though) and the folks at Bionova say that I should "welcome the sting" because that means it is working. It isn't unpleasant and I'm not alarmed.
I love the scent of it which reminds me of those days when I used to bring freshly dried clothes in from outside on the line - only quite a bit better. So fresh and appealing.

The jury is still out on these products. I am finding them to be pleasant to use. The cleanser takes just a tiny amount to work. The eye cream is pleasant to use. I love the scent. I have had NO ADVERSE EFFECTS. The product is not budget-friendly but is definitely doable and it is sold in very high-end department sores such as Barneys of New York. I am enjoying using the products and would look forward to reviewing more in their line. So basically speaking, I think this is a winner and a product line I can highly recommend.

I would like to try the Acne + Acne Scar Treatment With UV Chromophores. I like/found it interesting that they use pure, hyper-natural ingredients. Love that!
