My thoughts: Eileen Spinelli continues to give children and their parents books that delight and bless. In Counting Blessings she writes in sweet rhyme a simple counting "story" of blessings the child has. But this sweet book goes beyond the one to ten count of the typical counting book, at the end of the count, she continues with blessings upon blessings. This shows the child that God's blessings are innumerable or uncountable. Of course, we don't typically teach this indepth concept to the young child, but it can be taught.

I absolutely love Spinelli's books and this one, illustrated by Lee Holland, is stunningly charming. Such sweetness and softness. Such great cuddle factor. Lovely!
I received a complimentary copy from the BookLook Blogging Review program on behalf of ZonderKidz and the author. Opinions are my own. I was not compensated for the review.
This looks darling! I am actually looking for baby books for my little guy. The colors are vibrant. I think he would love this. There are so many counting books, it is nice to see this one has a beautiful message. Thanks for posting.
