Tiger's taking a trip—and everywhere she goes, from the market in Moscow to a boat on Egypt's Nile River, she says "thank you" to the friendly people she meets. And, as they follow her round the world, children will learn to how to say thanks in seven different languages, too: French, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Mandarin, Japanese, and Spanish. Each “please” word is translated and has a pronunciation guide, and an illustrated map follows Tiger's travels.

My thoughts: Abigail Samoun has another new travel board book for children: How Tiger Says Thank You!. This addition to the Little Traveler Series follows "tiger" on a global trot. Toddlers (and parents!) can learn to say “thank you” in seven popular languages: French, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish. At the back of the book there is a world map highlighting the different countries visited.

As vacations approach How Tiger Says Thank You! just might be the thing for diversionary tactics while traveling and also teaching a phrase in a different language. This is a cute, fun book for the little ones.

The illustrations are clear, cheerful, bright yet boldly pastel.

We love having books to entertain the kids on trips although I must say that the Kindle is a real blessing due to how heavy real books are! I love the look of this book and think it would make a great addition to our "Children Around the World" homeschool studies this next year! Thanks for sharing this at Booknificent Thursday!
