I would definitely use it for my kids for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is pirate "fan". Has been for 2-3 years now and she's only 4. Just yesterday, we had to play pirates. I'm the bad pirate and she's the pirate princess. Such an imagination.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter plays pirate a lot; I think she got the idea from watching SpongeBob. The books look like something she'd really enjoy. She cracks me up trying to do her pirate voice and everything is "arrrrr-matey." lol
ReplyDeleteI would use the card to buy gifts for my daughter.
ReplyDeleteI played pirate as a kid with the neighbor.
ReplyDeleteI used to play pirate as a child with a neighbor : )
ReplyDeleteI used to play pirate with a neighbor.
ReplyDeleteI would buy gifts for my son.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter loves to play pirates. She is 3 1/2. She asked for a pirate ship for Christmas. These would be awesome to add to it.
ReplyDeleteI would use the gift card to buy things for homeschooling my daughter.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember pretending to be a pirate child. However, my daughter and I do now. We especially love trying to talk like a pirate. Thanks for the review and opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI would use the gift card to buy a birthday present for my daughter.
ReplyDeleteMy grandson loves pirates - for several years his Halloween costume was a Vampire Pirate.
ReplyDeleteWith 2 new grandbabies due this fall, I think I would use the TRU GC to stock up on diapers.
ReplyDeleteWe love pirates in this family. I keep requesting Captain Jack Sparrow for Christmas but for some reason my husband can never get him for me. Hmm.
ReplyDeleteMy son, Cheeks, he's 7 & loves to read.
ReplyDeleteI'd use this to help Santa offset the cost of Xmas this year :)
ReplyDeleteI used to play Peter Pan with my brothers and I would be Wendy and my older brother was Peter Pan and my littlest brother was the crocodile or Captain Hook you never knew, but I could fly and I thought it was fun.
ReplyDeleteI would use the gift card to help with Christmas presents for my grand children and my sons and families, this is the first Christmas since I have retired and it will be interesting..
ReplyDeleteMy boys love playing pirates especially on the playground.
ReplyDeleteI never played pirates when I was a kid. I feel like that became much more popular after the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. My younger students do enjoy it now but I have to warn them to be careful with some of the playing they do because fake swords count as weapons and aren't allowed.
ReplyDeleteMy kids really loved playing p[irates after they saw Veggie Tales' pirate movie!
ReplyDeleteI loved pirates as a chold (and now!). I am already getting a dressup box together for my 10 month old and pirates are top of my list of must haves!
ReplyDeleteI never did but my oldest boy played pirates all the time. He even used a sock and string as a patch once. I did eventually get him a pirates outfit which was much more fitting.
ReplyDeleteIf I won I would use the $50 GC for my new grandson for christmas.. well mainly for mommy she is breast feeding and wants a breast pump for when she goes back to work.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember ever playing pirates myself but loved the pirates of the carribean ride at disneyland (which is still one of my favorite rides even as an adult!

Yes, I remember playing pirates back in the 50s. We would turn the wooden lawn chairs upside down and they would be our pirate boats. My brothers always captured me and my boat.

I remember that when I was a kid my sister and I would play pirates. Our bunk beds were the ship and if you ended up off the bed, you were in the sea where the monsters or sharks would get you. I (being the oldest) was always the captain and my sister was always the much abused first mate.

ReplyDeleteI've been in love with pirates my whole life- Ive gone as a pirate of one sort or another for almost every Halloween haha- and loved playing a pirate as a child. Pirates of the Caribbean could be on the TV all day and Id be a happy girl (and not only because of Johnny Depp lol) Now that I have two boys they have inherited the swashbuckling love...one of our favorite games is "Treasure Hunt" where I hide a treat or a surprise in the house, draw up a treasure map and we set off on a pirate adventure to find the burried treasure :)
