"Ted E. Bear the Labradoodle" by Joanna Rau-Tobin & illustrated by Dinah M. Rau (Review & Giveaway)

When I saw the little book, Ted E. Bear the Labradoodle, online, I contacted the author about the possibility of reviewing it. You see, I have a wee bit of a special interest in Labrdoodles.  One of my grand daughters just received a Labradoodle puppy this year and I thought a book about one would be a delight to her.  So the author has graciously sent a copy to me for review and it is also signed!

This is a small book, soft cover, with basic water color illustrations typical of the life of a puppy dog.  Ted E Bear has been selected from a liter of 8 and, of course, he is the cutest of all.  He is a curly hair dog that is full of love and life. Somewhat confusing to me is his going "bananas for bananas." And later "For blueberries, apples, zucchini, and cheese, Ted E. Bear smiles--pretty please." I'm not sure if he loves fruit and veggies, or if this means something else.

"He loves to swim......" that would definitely be the "Labradore Retriever" in him.  They definitely are swimmers.

This is a sweet picture book about a puppy that comes to stay.

    I have 4 cats. My daughter has a dog at her dad's house. She named him Oscar. She loves him!

    We never had a dog or cats growing up but after I moved out, my parents got Lucy the cat. My kids have Tom and Becky, cats and we hope to get a dog just as soon as they will sort of take care of it.

    We did have a dog named daisy. unfortunately a couple years ago we had to seriously down size and couldnt bring her. but she went to a family friend who has a farm and a couple other dogs. plenty of room to run and play. i would like to get another one one day.

    I have a dog. We adopted her from our local humane society and she was named Hope and it just fits perfectly for our first dog together! I love her! She is a border collie besinji mix

    When I was a young child, we (my 2 sisters & I) begged our mom to let us have a puppy. She does not like pets. BUT WE PREVAILED! We named him Buttons. He was just a beagle/mix but he was the best dog E.V.E.R! He followed us EVERYWHERE we went, including into the stores uptown if we walked, lol. We were often called to retrieve him from the public swimming pool after he had followed us there on a sunny afternoon. He ate absolutely anything & everything & loved ketchup. That was the only pet we ever had & we had him for YEARS.

    My happy thought...............my husband (the preacher) just left for Bible study but before he did, he kissed me. I am so in love with him. We will be married 24 years in November.
